Upcoming Shows

Hey everybody! Just a heads up for our next couple of shows:

Next month, May 13th, will be headlined by improvisational singer and guitarist Andi Harrington. Andi was a surprise addition to our show a couple months ago, and everyone has been excited to bring her back to After hours since.

After that, on June 10th, Dax Tran-Caffee will be topping the bill. Dax has appeared twice at After Hours with his band Corpus Callosum, but this time will be appearing on his own, performing original songs, puppetry, and whatever else he can cook up.

As always, shows are at 11:30pm, at the Dragon Theatre, for $7. See you there!

Come on out! Also featuring hip hop artist Natural FX and improvisational musician Mara Freeman.

Update!

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't been keeping up on this blog, lately. We've had a successful few shows since November, featuring poet-comedian Mike McGee in December, adorable electronica duo Dusty Organ in January, and always enjoyable musicians and performance artists Corpus Callosum!

Our next show is going to be this coming Friday, March 11th, featuring local comedian-magician and After Hours veteran, Adam Magill! Same time, same place, same price. See you there!

Andrea Blunt

Ladies and gents, I am thrilled to announce that this coming friday, November 12th, we will be welcoming the charming Andrea Blunt back to After Hours.

She was last seen when her band honeymoon headlined back in August and we're all pleased as punch to be having her back to play some solo tunes!

This month's dress-up theme: leftover Halloween costumes.

James "The Wizard People" Meder

This past Friday marked another successful After Hours show at the lovely little Dragon Theatre. As evidenced by the promotional art (designed by After Hours regular Sarah Lyn Rogers), James Meder helmed our last installment. After watching his fingers fly across the fretboard, I have determined that James Meder is not a regular person like you or me. He is a wizard. A guitar wizard.

If you're interested on keeping tabs on Mr. Meder, check out his MySpace. Feel free to send him love notes and join us in our efforts to convince him to return to the South Bay soon.
